Who we are

CONTENTWIST is a content and design studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this site or work with us, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, email address, and anything you write in the enquiry form or send us by email.
  • Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, used to understand how the site is used.
  • Information from working together. If you become a client, the contact and billing details needed to deliver and invoice the work.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

How we use it

We use the information above to reply to enquiries, deliver projects we have been engaged for, send administrative messages about work in progress, and improve how this site performs. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Legal basis

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and running the site, on contract where we are delivering work you have engaged us for, and on consent for anything optional such as a mailing list.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — for example hosting and email providers — and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, and project records for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to certain processing, or request a copy in portable form. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details on the contact page.

Cookies

This site does not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, this section will describe what is set, why, and how to control it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
